I am often asked....Sheila Crider is one of my teachers...she often invites takes suggests that I go... see here taste this or that. Recently we have gone together to see the latest exhibitions at The Hirshhorn The Sacler The National Museum of the Native American and The National Museum of American Art. We go look critic eat drink...repeat. This has been going on for at least twenty years. She and her work are also some of my inspirations. She lived and studied abroad France Italy Japan...and comes from "round the way" and later after meeting knowing arguing learning from and being challenged by... so have and do I. She has a new exhibit...go see it...buy something. Since I've met her my abstract forms have taken on more depth dimension and complexity and one can almost lay my entrance into the world of enameling at her feet. Color...uh...what a marvelous endless mind boggling pain. We are...21century vanguards....
